Zanotto’s Presents Kenwood Reserve Wines
This past Wednesday afternoon, I was received a fortuitous last minute invitation to a wine tasting at Zanotto’s Market on Naglee Avenue. It was my first time to this affair, which is a well kept secret among Rose Garden residents and regulars at Zanotto’s. It turned out to be a wonderful evening of wine and food pairing, hosted by the the fine family at Zanotto’s and Kenwood Winery. I learned a recent lesson about trying to budget the time to cover multiple wines from a tasting event, so I’ll give you a wrap-up to cover the great reserve wines that were served up.

Without doing the wines the justice of individual review, I’ll just say that they were all most enjoyable, as was the array of great food, which included tempura shrimp sushi, apple anise pizza and steak florentine from Montana Ranch. The Zanotto’s and Kenwood staff did a fantastic job–I can’t wait to go to the next one! One last, very important note…Zanotto’s offered great discounts on individual bottles and even better discounts on mixed cases. You want to get on the list for these events.
