J. Lohr Bay Mist Reisling
If you’ve never been to a BevMo for wine tasting, look into it. The VinoForLess team was there last Saturday, and man was there much note taking to be done. I’ll start this series with a nice little Reisling.

A floral nose accompanied by pear and a hint of pecans made this Riesling a nice start to our long tasting list. On the pallet, a smooth fruit forwardness complimented noticeable vanilla notes. On this particular day, we had quite a bit of discussion about oak barrels, french oak barrels and stainless steel fermenting. This wonderful wine delivers a crispness that results quality stainless steel fermentation. I’m going to call this one a buy for the upcoming warm weather. Its sweet character makes for a great call with outdoor fun, fruit and/or spicy dishes. Thanks for the nice notes Sami!
