This was a gift from someone I met just last weekend. I may go straight to hell for saying anything negative (it was a gift afterall), but I was initially disappointed in this subtely fruity wine. This evening however, day three after opening, I found that it’s not all bad.

While I don’t consider it a best in class, it’s not all bad. Perhaps the trick is to leave it uncorked overnight–ooops. I was otherwise kind to it, pumping the air out with a VacuVin Wine Saver. Again, not fantastic, but if you’d like to try a Zin for the first time and $11 fits your budget, this wine could be for you. Here’s to the health of new gift-giving acquaintences.
