Billecart - Salmon Brut Reserve Champagne NV 750ml
As my Friday night was winding down, I was getting ready to hit the sack when my front door opened. It was my roommate and his new fiance. My other roommate decided that it was time for a midnight celebration. What better, than real French Champagne!

This may be one of the best champagnes (sparkling wines) that I have ever had. This was far from a dry, bubbly spritz. Instead, it was bustling with a light sweetness that only comes from a classical French champagne. This one is a bit more expensive than the other wines that I have tried lately, but it is well worth it. You can count on this one to be a solid performer for any of your most romantic or important occassions.
-note: after looking around online a bit more, I did find this great champagne for $18.99 here, although it is a half size bottle (375ml). But, an affordable way to taste a truly great champagne.

Dammit Jim! The sign says VinoFORLESS! While I’m sure we just lost the better part of 10,000 readers for not staying true to our theme, I like the review. Congrats to the roommate and fiance. There’s no better reason to go for the real deal than scoring a good woman. As for breaking the theme, now we have to go find a nice California sparkling worthy of a paper bag. Although finding a decent sparkling for under $20/$25 will be challenging.
